Millennium Trip

The children have all taken home a note today about our trip to the Millennium Institute. Please can you return the permission slips as soon as possible. Many thanks.

Masks

We are making some progress on our masks. We have added a layer of plain paper so that we can paint and decorate them once they are dry.

Poem Final

Well done to all of the year 2 children who performed a poem for our poetry competition. Well done to the winners. You all did an amazing job and Mrs Barratt had to make a tough decision.

Shield Winner

Congratulations to Tim, our shield winner this week.

What colour is it?

We have been learning our colours in Te Reo Maori. Here we are asking what colour our house shields are.

Mask Making

We are starting to make our own masks. The first step is to use papier mache over a balloon. We are working in pairs as each balloon will be cut in half to make two masks.

Cross Country

Well done to all our runners today. You made me very proud. Everyone tried hard and kept going all the way around. 

Ta Moko

We have been learning about Ta Moko. Here we are with our Moko.

Cross Country on Wednesday

The Year 1 and 2s will be running their cross country races on Wednesday morning. The children should bring a change of clothes and shoes to run in. They are welcome to wear something in their house colours. Hopefully the rain will stay away!
