Greetings in Te Reo Maori

In room 6 we have been practicing our Maori greetings. In the morning we say Kia ora when we answer the roll.

Tēnā koe  - hello to one person
Tēnā kōrua - hello to two people
Tēnā koutou - hello to three or more people

 

 

 

 

We practiced our greetings with Room 21 at buddy class time.

Now we need to learn how to say goodbye!
