Weaving

We have been looking at the different uses of paper this term and decided to use coloured paper for our art. We created woven mats and did every step by ourselves.

1. Fist we had to measure the strips for the frame by folding and drawing lines ruler width apart. We cut down the lines from the folded side, taking care not to cut all the way to the end.

2. Next we measured and cut strips from our other coloured piece of paper. 

3. Finally we wove the strips together using an under-over pattern.
